Individual funding opportunities

Our present affiliation is partially funded by institutional funds of Academy of Sciences (< 30%).

Therefore, national, international and privately funded projects are vital for our department.

In this page are listed linked for triggering various opportunities to join the group at various levels.

Post-doctoral (individual) level

  • Marie Curie Post-doctoral fellowship. Deadline is usually in September each year. Contact us to apply.
  • GACR national grants. Submission deadline is usually early April, and answer comes in end December for start in early January.

PhD student level

Given the activities of our group, the preferred doctoral school is the Charles University (Prague), department of Condensed Matter. Funding is usually linked to a national or European project that we are responsible for.
